Wreck Diver

Tortuga Island Area Wrecks. The only place in Central America with three shipwrecks for diving!


This course offers to familiarize you with practices and skills necessary to obtain the knowledge that will allow you to plan, organize and proceed and the appropriate techniques and problems and danger faced and to increase the fascination for dives close to and inside shipwrecks.

The special "Shipwreck Diving Course" will introduce the techniques used during the dives close and inside the shipwrecks. However, the primary elements of the course are and how to act responsibly.

Course duration
approximately 2 days, 4 divers at minimum 2 different wrecks and theory.
Planning, Organization, Procedures, techniques, problems and dangers faced in this sport. Preparation and use of lams, air supply devices, special equipment, ropes and reels necessary for the dive inside the shipwreck. Diving techniques with hardly any lighting, procedures in case of emergency.

Requirements
PADI Adventure Diver Certification or other qualifying certificate.

Course price
US$ 320.00 including PADI manual AND rental equipment.

Course objective
To know how to plan, organize and make dives in free waters with the same quality as shipwreck divers. The conditions that prevail in such dives are similar to the ones that used to reign during the formation phase or possibly even better. Make dives that are limited to shipwreck divers but respect the zone of natural light or daylight , the phase of the dive of the shipwreck from the surface, touring shouldn't exceed 40 meters including the descent as well as the interior of the shipwreck - also you can take the Master Scuba Diver once you have acquired the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or other similar certificate (from another diving organization) and the PADI Rescue Diver (or other qualifying certificate) and 4 specialty certificates (in addition to the "Wreck Diver"). As well, you should have participated in 50 dives that are registered in the blog.
